SOCA Teams Win Seven Titles At Columbus Day Events

The Columbus Day weekend provided SOCA Travel teams the opportunity to pause their fall league schedule and take on tournament challenges around the state.

SOCA-Charlottesville Premier teams all ventured to Virginia Beach where they earned four championship trophies and four second place awards.  SOCA Elite/Apprentice U11-U13 teams also traveled to the Beach, where they earned two championship titles and four runner-up placements.  See all standings and results here:

SOCA’s older girls Elite squads participated in the highly regarded WAGS Tournament in northern Virginia, where the U14 Elite lead the way with four wins before dropping a narrow 2-1 decision in the final, taking silver medal honors. See all WAGS standings and results here:

A portion of the SOCA-Charlottesville Classic Travel program traveled to Richmond, competing in the Kickers tournament there.  The U11 Boys Classic Blue squad won their division, with the U14 Boys Classic taking second place honors in their group.  View all results here:
