SOCA Places Seven Teams in State Cup Quarter Finals

On Saturday, September 21, six SOCA Elite squads won their VYSA State Cup match and advanced to the quarter final round of the single elimination state championship event, where they will join the SOCA U15 Elite girls, who reached the final eight with an earlier win.

Seven teams in the quarter final round puts SOCA on track to continue recent success in Cup play.  Both the current SOCA U16 (2004) and U17 (2003) Girls Elite teams are defending champions, making a total of seven State Cup champions from the club.  The current crop of Elite competitors will be trying to add to the club trophy case.

This coming Saturday, September 28, the U18 Boys Elite (vs VBR Star) and U18 Girls Elite (vs NVSC) will play at home, while the U15 Girls elite are on the road at FC Richmond in their next Cup matches.

Saturday, October 5 has three SOCA Elite squads playing at home (U16 boys, U16 Girls and U17 Girls) while the U15 Boys will be away at Alexandria.
