Augusta and Charlottesville Face Off in Premier Play

Representative Premier squads from SOCA’s two regions faced off in Skyline Club Soccer League play on Saturday at South Fork Soccer Park, once again creating the festive club atmosphere that has come to characterize the friendly intra-club rivalry between Augusta and Charlottesville.

With league play coming into the home stretch several division races became more clear after the match day in Charlottesville.  The SOCA-Augusta U14 Boys remained in first place with a 3-1 win and the SOCA-Augusta U12 girls will keep pressure on division leading CVU by virtue of their 4-2 win.

SOCA-Charlottesville U11 and U12 Boys continue their division leading form with 4-1 and 7-2 wins, respectively.

The Skyline Premier trophy is up for grabs with three weeks of regularly scheduled league play remaining.  Several clubs are in contention for the overall league title with key match-ups remaining in all age groups.
