Skyline Premier Divisions Now Featuring Club to Club Block Scheduling
The Skyline League has finally acheived true block scheduling for its biggest clubs. After many years of growth and planning, block scheduling will be fully utilized in premier divisions beginning in the Spring of 2010. Block scheduling means that all of the teams from one club will play all of the teams from another club on the same day and the club Directors will set the daily schedules themselves. This will allow for effiencies of travel and resources such as coaching, and will provide greater flexibility in scheduling. Block scheduling will only affect teams in Premier Divisions who are part of clubs that field teams in all age groups. Classic divisions will still be scheduled by the league as they were previously.
Two League Champions to be Crowned Beginning Spring 2010
Due to the continued growth of the Skyline League the league will now be able to award two Club Champions each season. Two separate competitions will run to crown a Club Champion of the Premier Divisions and a Club Champion of the Classic Divisions. Club points will be accrued and tabulated separately by teams competing in either Classic or Premier flights.
