Referee Training Schedule
Support the game of soccer by becoming a referee. This is a rewarding way to participate and assist others to play this great game. Opportunities are available for referees beginning at age 12 through adults. The United States Soccer Federation (USSF) provides the standards for soccer referees in the USA. These standards are called Grades. The two referee entry Grades which we offer are Grade 9 and Grade 8 trainings classes. These do not relate to school grades. To referee matches for SOCA you must successfully complete one of the new grade trainings.
Below is the schedule for our local trainings. To see other classes around the state, go to www.vadcsoccerref.com and go to the referee clinic page.
All USSF Referees are required to annually re-certify.
For additional information please call Don Dolinger (SOCA Referee Assignor) at 434.975.5025 ext. 15 or Don.Dolinger@SOCAspot.org.
