Referee Training Schedule

Support the game of soccer by becoming a referee.  This is a rewarding way to participate and assist others to play this great game.  There are opportunities for referees beginning at age 12 through adults.  Below is the schedule for our local trainings.  To see other classes around the state, go to www.vadcsoccerref.com and go to the referee clinic page.

The United States Soccer Federation (USSF) provides standards for soccer referees in the USA.  These standards are called Grades.  The two entry Grades which we offer are Grade 9 and Grade 8 trainings.  These do not relate to school grades.  To referee matches for SOCA you must successfully complete one of the new grade trainings plus attend a SOCA Competition Rules meeting.
Whether you become a Grade 9 or a Grade 8 referee, you will need to re-certify annually.

For additional information please contact Don Dolinger at Don.Dolinger@SOCAspot.org or call 434.975.5025 ext. 15.
